How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

We've organised a private bus service with Heke Bus to take care of everyone on the day, so there's no need to arrange your own transport or worry about driving.

Getting there: On the afternoon of the wedding, Heke Bus will collect guests from their accommodation on Waiheke Island, and will also meet the ferry from Auckland at Matiatia terminal. Everyone will be delivered to Mudbrick in good time for the 4:00 PM ceremony.

Getting home: Shuttles run continuously from 10:00 PM with door-to-door drop-offs, so you can leave whenever you're ready rather than waiting for a fixed departure. There are set runs for the 11:00 PM and 12:30 AM ferries back to Auckland (the last two of the night), and the shuttles will keep returning to the venue until every guest is safely home.

What we need from you: Please fill in the transport form below with where you're staying. If you've booked an Airbnb or holiday home and don't have the exact address yet, the suburb is enough to get started – you can update the details closer to the date. Heke Bus will then send out a personalised schedule with your pick-up time and location, including street views so you know exactly where to wait.

Can I bring a guest?

We're keeping our celebration intimate, so invitations are for named guests only. We hope you understand as we celebrate with our closest friends and family. If you feel we may have missed someone important, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you take this opportunity to relax and enjoy a night off with us.

Is there a dress code?

Yes – formal cocktail attire. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive no later than 3:30 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Additional details will be shared with your formal invitation closer to the date.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

We plan to hold the ceremony outdoors, weather permitting, followed by an indoor reception. As it will be summer in New Zealand, we recommend dressing accordingly.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Limited parking will be available at the venue. We recommend using the provided transportation where possible.

Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?

We won't be reserving hotel blocks, but there is a wide range of Airbnbs and holiday homes available on Waiheke Island and in Auckland City.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 30, 2026.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Your presence is truly the greatest gift, especially knowing many of you are traveling far and wide to celebrate with us. If you would like to contribute a gift, a registry will be shared closer to the date.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Yes, dinner will be served.

Will there be vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or other dietary options?
